itself, document scanner hardware <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">vendors and document capture software vendors finally seem to grasp the <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">opportunity of network scanning.\u00a0 However, and certainly more importantly than <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">the vendors themselves better understanding the significant trend towards <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">network scanning, end-user customers are demanding these types of devices more <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">than ever.\u00a0 The concept of \u2018networking scanning\u2019 blends appeal points that cross <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">corporate departmental boundaries for the benefit of the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Users = Ease of\u00a0use, intelligent scanning features, versatile functionality<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Business\u00a0Managers = Improve business efficiency, higher worker productivity<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Network\u00a0Administrators = Simplified deployment, effective device management<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Software\u00a0Developers = Integrated solutions through a consistent user interface<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">In essence a network\u00a0scanner has four main qualities that are fairly common among devices and each\u00a0quality can be mapped directly to the appeal points highlighted above. <\/span><\/p>\n<p Also it includes other components and software that does not\u00a0require the scanner be attached to a computer.\u00a0 A network scanner attaches\u00a0directly to the network via a network cable and can be managed from a\u00a0centralized location.\u00a0 As you can imagine this is quite appealing for Network\u00a0Administrators. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size:
