He\u2019s extremely special\u2014originally my dad\u2019s cat, then my mom\u2019s, and now he\u2019s ours. Basically, he\u2019s family royalty with a PhD in Charm and a black belt in Side-Eye. &#x1f451;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tigg, our 11-month-old orange fluff (a.k.a. \u201cMonster Tiggarelas\u201d), came from the wild streets\u2014a feral alley cat who spent his nights sneaking around, getting into scraps, and surviving on sheer pluck and leftovers. We trapped him a few months ago with realistic expectations that taming him, especially with five other animals in the house, might be\u2026 ambitious.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"526\" height=\"701\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kevinneal.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Tigg-2025.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13731\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.7503772781797778;width:229px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.kevinneal.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Tigg-2025.jpg 526w, https:\/\/www.kevinneal.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Tigg-2025-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 526px) 100vw, 526px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Fast forward four months: J.C. is the wise, responsible \u201cdetective,\u201d teaching the ropes and rolling his eyes at Tigg\u2019s antics. Tigg? He\u2019s the rookie with endless energy, occasional bad judgment, and a complete lack of respect for personal space. Together, they prowl the house like they\u2019re tethered by an invisible rope\u2014J.C. keeping order, Tigg keeping things <em>interesting<\/em>. &#x1f575;&#xfe0f;&#x200d;&#x2642;&#xfe0f;&#x1f431;&#x1f575;&#xfe0f;&#x200d;&#x2642;&#xfe0f;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s heartwarming, hilarious, and just a little chaotic. One responsible adult, one obnoxious but loveable brat\u2026 and somehow, it works perfectly.
